	1960 :-
	Start of A.M.I.E. Course for the Engineering Diploma Holders. [A.M.I.E. examinations are conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) and are recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent to B.E.].
	1964 :-
	Started Engineering Diploma Classes.
	1981 :-
	I.I.T. Entrance Magazine for All India Circulation and Std. XI & XII coaching.
	1985 :-
	Engineering Degree Classes (F.E., S.E., T.E., B.E)
	1995 :-
	Started a branch at Chembur and Hostel for students at Nerul (Navi Mumbai), the Vidyalankar Gurukul.
	1996 :-
	Extension of H.O. at Narayan - Dadar (East) & branch at Thane.
	1997 :-
	Started a branch at Nerul.
	1998 :-
	Extension of H.O. at Pioneer - Dadar (West)
	1999 :- Started the Engineering Degree college ‘Vidyalankar Institute of Technology’ at a temporary location at Dadar with Computer Engineering, Information Technology & Electronics Engineering.
	2001 :- Started a new branch at Andheri. Shifted the Engineering Degree College from Dadar to an 11 acre campus at Wadala.
	2002 :- Started 'Vidyalankar Polytechnic', an engineering Diploma College, affiliated to the M.S.B.T.E at Wadala with Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering & Information Technology. Started 'Vidyalankar School of Information Technology' a B.Sc I.T degree college affiliated to the University of Mumbai at Wadala.
	2003 :- Started Training for GATE. Started a Branch in Borivali.
	2004 :- Started coaching for AIEEE and MHT-CET.
	2005 :- Vidyalankar College was awarded as 'A' Grade College by the State Government of Maharashtra. Started a branch at Fort.
	2006 :- Classes shifted to Vidyalankar House - Hindu colony, Dadar. Engineering college moved to New State of Art building. Vidyalankar collaborates with Penn State (U.S) for Twinning Program for Bachelor of Science (Information Technology). Started two new Engg. Degree Courses of Electronics & Telecommunication and Biomedical Engineering.
	2007 :- VSIT offers 2 new courses of BMS & M.Sc. (IT). VIT offers new course of MBA (MMS). Awarded ‘The Most Innovative School Design’ by Design-Share, U.S.A
	2008 :- Started branches at Ghatkopar, Dombivli & Vashi. Started 2nd shift Diploma courses in Vidyalankar Polytechnic. Started M.E course in Computer Engineering
	2009 :- Second Branch at Borivali in Landmark building. Won Silver ‘WOW Award’ for Friday Paathshala
	2010 :- Started branch at Panvel VSIT offer new courses of BAF, BBI, BFM Started second shift in VIT (Computer Engineering & Information Technology) Started M.E course in Electronics & Telecommunication / ME (INFT)
	2011 :- Started Part time courses for MMM, MFM, MHRDM from Govt. of Maharashtra.
